Gloria Shepherd as  manager of the progressive Orphans, a sixties band with a crossover to the  Rolling Stones, has for decades established a psychic link with the Stones  casualty Brain Jones, who died in 1969, or was suspected to have been murdered  by underworld hit men. Gloria's sustained psychic contact with Brian Jones  forms the underlying narrative of a brilliant adventurist book in which Brian as  avatar in his afterlife channels through Gloria.
